Carlisle/Per Se Trunk Show at Fairmont Copley Plaza

Do winter sweaters, oversparkled New Year’s dresses, and the same boring work clothes get you down? We sympathize. Warm weather and your favorite string bikini may feel like distant memories, but fashionistas are already prepping for spring style, so make like a Boy Scout and be prepared. Diana Moore, a Concord-based wardrobe consultant extraordinaire, brings two collections of fun, sophisticated women’s apparel to the Fairmont Copley Plaza for a trunk show this Friday, January 14, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Moore is showing spring and summer lines from Carlisle and Per Se. From Carlisle, expect sleeveless dresses, long cardigans, and office-appropriate capris in citrus hues toned down with neutral shades from Carlisle; and from Per Se look for light jackets, high-waisted skirts, and belted dresses in bright pinks, blues, and turquoises

“All my clients appreciate the style and quality of our fabulous clothes, and also the ease and efficiency of shopping at a trunk show,” says Moore. Style hounds take note: You must book an appointment to attendthe show, which gets you access to all the duds as well as a highly personalized experience. “If a woman is seeking new black pants, for example, we have about 20 styles on view, in myriad fabrics and styles…. Also, many women prefer privacy while shopping, and by keeping an appointment schedule I can promise efficient, focused, and confidential wardrobe-building,” Moore explains. And who doesn’t like a little attention, especially when it comes what we wear?

If you can’t make it on Friday, don’t despair: Moore is converting her Concord home to a boutique following the trunk show and will schedule appointments January 15-26 .
