Boston Fashion Week: Marie Galvin

Editor’s note: Boston magazine is a Tent at Boston Fashion Week partner.

Boston’s master milliner showed a collection of whimsical headpieces topped with all manners of plumage, curlicues, sheer details, and glitter, paired with rich fall fabrics like velvet, felt, and plaid in shades of maroon, black, and camel. Here are a few looks we loved:

Loop it, swoop it, and pull: curls and coils added major dimension.

This asymmetrical, wide-brimmed velveteen creation adds serious visual interest to this look's autumn hues.

Winter hats with oversize poms made us (shockingly) excited for winter.

Feathers are still in (and look great atop a perfectly tailored derby).
