Ads for the brand's new fragrance line were shot in a town that rhymes with Deluxe-bury.

Does anything about this commercial for Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony Collection fragrance line (“celebrating the sporty, sensual,free-spirited, and stylish attributes of modern women”) seem familiar? Maybe the sun-drenched fields or the gray-shingled manses? Well, they should, considering that famed fashion photog Bruce Weber shot the campaign in our backyard — yes, the models are gallivanting around Duxbury in vintage rides and atop polo ponies.

And, continuing the local connection, one of the faces of the new collection, Dominican Republic-born Cris Urena (in the purple pants, above), grew up in Worcester — she now lives in New York, of course.

The four Big Pony fragrances retail for $70 for 100 ml, and can currently be found at Bloomingdale’s, Ralph Lauren retail locations, and ralphlauren.com.
