On Monday, new restaurant and gallery Liquid Art House hosted the opening event for their first-ever exhibit, “Street Art Outside In,” which features renowned mural artists from around the world. The international art installation was curated by Ana-Katarina Vinkler-Petrovic, a local artist, jewelry designer and curator.

Artsy types mixed and mingled with the usual Boston party-going suspects, including media specialists, retail folks, culinary insiders, and more.

Of the group, we chatted with the likes of Liquid Art owner Ruta Laukien, ballerina food blogger Rachel Cossar, real estate development consultant Gustavo Quiroga, Frenchman Eric Jausseran and his BFF Andy Levine, event planner AJ Williams, the ever-fabulous octogenarian Doris Yaffe, and Clio pastry chef Monica Glass.

Although the new locale nabbed the lovely and talented chef Rachel Klein, this event was certainly not about the food or beverages; a small buffet of cured meats and breads was provided, and drinks were hard to come by. We’ll have to go back for a proper dinner.

The most stylish of the bunch:
