Lovely stalwarts Mint Julep and Second Time Around aside, there is a dearth of women’s clothing boutiques in Coolidge Corner. Neighborhood resident Hilary Marino, 27, is setting out to change that. Today marks the opening of the brick-and-mortar outpost of her two-year-old online store, Her Closet Boston. Like the website, the laid-back, 500-square-foot store stocks trendy but affordable dresses, rompers, and tops from brands like Under Skies and Naked Zebra (most pieces are under $60). It also features a stenciled accent wall, a crystal chandelier, and wooden cube shelves displaying accessories and shoes—and stay tuned for private shopping parties.
