If the Polar Vortex makes another appearance this season, we’ll be ready in style. That’s because Vince—purveyor of drapey cashmere knits and other effortlessly cool essentials—has opened two new stores in the area: a Newbury Street flagship and a Chestnut Hill outpost (pictured). Showcasing a smartly edited selection of luxe everyday wear—we’re coveting the suede leggings and oversize snap-neck pullovers for women and the lightweight wool jogging pants for men—the shops also stock the brand’s just-launched kids’ line (mini moto jackets! Pint-size faux fur vests!). Also ahead: Vince’s first handbag collection, which hits shelves this month, and an array of warm coats with chic detailing. In other words: Bring it on, winter.
