... just in time for the holidays (hint, hint).

The first block of Newbury is now a little more sparkly, thanks to the opening of the new 1,800-square-foot Tiffany & Co. boutique. The Public Garden-adjacent shop at 5 Newbury, brimming with diamond engagement rings, pieces from the new Tiffany T collection, and more, shares architectural details with the brand’s Fifth Avenue flagship (see: the Art Deco fluting on the stainless steel doors).

The three jewelry salons feature walnut paneling cerused with gold and lacquer or velvet walls, as well as archival illustrations, vintage Tiffany ads, and black-and-white images of New York. A magnolia motif, recalling the Art Nouveau glassworks of Louis Comfort Tiffany, can be found in the carpeting, and in painted glass panels and sconces.

5 Newbury St., Boston, 617-217-5778, tiffany.com.
