The 2015 Emmy Awards Red Carpet: Best and Worst Dressed

In preparation for Boston’s gala season (Moondance and BSO black-ties are this weekend and the Storybook Ball is right around the corner), it’s time to shop the red carpet.

Sunday night’s Primetime Emmy Awards was a sparkly fashion spectacle with sequins and metallic threads galore. Take a cue from the stars and pare down the accessories if you go for blinged-out attire — like our best dressed picks Claire Danes, Jaimie Alexander, and Sarah Paulson.

If flashy just isn’t you, try the classic silhouette in an equally classic color like black or red (Lady Gaga and Sarah Hyland rocked the timeless look).
