On October 20, hundreds of guests entered the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center to enjoy the New England Chapter of the IIDA’s annual fashion show. Two dozen of the region’s best interior design firms and design schools teamed up with industry manufacturers to battle it out on the runway in front of a capacity crowd at the BCEC ballroom. Designers from each team donned fashions that they created exclusively from the tools of their trade—interior finishes, furnishings, light fixtures, etc.—and competed for cheers, awards, and bragging rights. The event left the crowd speechless and in awe of the incredibly creative designs displayed.
