Critics say this city has no style. We’re here to prove them wrong. Welcome to HubThreads, where we chat with the most stylish people we find out and about in Boston. Think you or someone you know has the best street style? Let us know.
I like your velvet blazer. Thanks. Wanna go in on one of these paintings together?
Sure, we could have joint custody. Come January, Monday through Wed and every 2nd Saturday is best for me, but I’ll let you take a look at your schedule.
How would you describe your style? Eccentric.
Do you have any style icons? I don’t. I just like to wear unique and funky items, so I keep an eye out while traveling.
Where do you like to shop in Boston? Boston is tough for me, because we’re such a traditional city. Boston also doesn’t have much inventory for tall people or men with freakish-sized shoes. I purchase most of my clothing in other cities and online. That said, John Varvatos, Barneys, Saks and Burberry are some favorites.
Where are you from? I grew up just outside Boston, and I’ve lived in the city since 2008.
What brought you to Boston? I moved back to Boston for a consulting gig, and to be near my family.
What do you do? I head up Brand Development & Strategy at M.S. Walker, a wines and spirits distributor. Effectively, I create and launch wine and spirit brands.
Tell me something else about yourself. I have cut my own hair for the past 15 years.
