Critics say this city has no style. We’re here to prove them wrong. Welcome to HubThreads, where we chat with the most stylish people we find out and about in Boston. Think you or someone you know has the best street style? Let us know.

JORDAN

Do you have any style icons? I used to really like that Japanese Street style magazine, FRUITS!  And of course my dear Erin Robertson.

How would you describe your personal style? I always wanted to look like a video game character, or a maybe a wizard.  I like bright colors.

Where do you like to shop in Boston? Online!  Or thrift.  Art supplies cost so much.  Whoever says the best things in life are free was not a painter!

Are you from Boston? I am!  I like it here.  New York is too crazy for me, there is nowhere to sit down!

Is that why you decided to stay in Boston to do your art? And the in-state tuition at Massart was very reasonable.  I made a lot of wonderful friends and we try to help each other and keep morale high in the winter.  Also, my parents are around, they’re very cute and have the best dogs.  Why leave Boston?  It seems like everyone loves to travel except for me.

Tell me more about your art. My art is interdisciplinary in that I enjoy using a variety of materials and techniques, but also different visual languages that usually don’t interact, like painting, fashion & video games.  I like the awkward interactions between different fantasy worlds.  I make art constantly, so I’m a pretty happy person.  It’s been that way since I was 2 years old.
