Most of our patients have been with us for many years. We focus on listening to a patient's concerns, and understanding how that patient's unique situation affects their course and treatment. We provide expert care in the diagnosis and management of even the most complex gastrointestinal disorders.
Find a physician with experience, a reputation for listening; and a love and passion for his or her daily work.
Gastroenterology, all at once, requires and allows the study of a diverse array of disorders affecting people of different ages, from different backgrounds, and a variety of diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic approaches. As it involves the care of acute and also chronic conditions, gastroenterology provides a chance to dramatically improve our patients' lives - sometimes very quickly - and virtually always over the course of time.
Over the past two decades, our Gastroenterology practice has developed a thoughtful and very complete array of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to fully treat most common and complex GI disorders. My particular passion is in the care of patients with both Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis, as well as the treatment of patients with disorders of the liver, bile ducts, and pancreas.
One of the best reactions from a patient is always their confident referral of a family member or close friend. Joyful smiles and even tears at the finding of an excellent outcome are perhaps the very best reactions of all.
We are a dedicated group of GI physicians, passionate about our work, expertly trained, and committed to being at the forefront of Gastroenterology - caring for our patients within a community setting, outside the hustle of Boston.
Our practice was founded over 35 years ago, and Dr. Reichheld has been caring for patients at Digestive Health Specialists for just over 20 years.
