After serving active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Joseph Czarnecki trained at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program, and completed the Harvard/MGH Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery. His passion remains taking care of patients, as he has performed over 7,000 surgeries and cared for many more patients—from pediatric sports injuries to adult ones, including collegiate and professional athletes. His areas of interest include joint preservation and reconstructive techniques of the knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle. He was among the first in New England to perform quadriceps tendon ACL reconstruction and endoscopic proximal hamstring repair.
