Dr. Valena Wright is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with over 25 years of active practice. She is an accomplished surgeon and is skilled in gynecologic cancer surgeries (ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulvar/vaginal cancers), robotic and minimally invasive operations. Compassionate and adept, she specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of all gynecologic diseases. Her passion for helping women avoid cancer, know their treatment options and regain their health inspired her to write her first book " It's Time You Knew, The Power of Your Choices to Prevent Women's Cancer". She is dedicated to elevating the quality and safety of health care for women through excellence in clinical practice, education , research and advocacy. She serves patients at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Her residency and fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital an affiliated Harvard teaching hospital. She is currently serves as American Association of Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship Director At Lahey Health and is Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Boston University.
