Why is it so Easy to Find Good Food on Yelp, But Rarely Good Doctors? Because no one wants to be on the receiving end of an angry doctor, that’s why. Indeed, as fearful as medical practitioners tend to be of their litigious patients, the patients are apparently almost as wary of being blackballed or sued themselves by irate physicians upset with reviews. The end result is a barren wasteland of useful medical information on public review sites. Fortunately though as the Times reports, this culture is beginning to shift and while yes, some doctors continue to actively try to suppress medical reviews, there are those hospitals and medical centers that have begun seeking out patient feedback.
