Local Running Shoe Companies Ran Too Far on Fitness Promises, Say Lawsuits. First Reebok, now Vibram — sheesh, things are just not going so well for our local shoe athletic shoe companies. Each are in deep water, according to the Globe, for their respective promises to improve the hindquarters and posture of their customers, which evidently, has not happened. Is anyone else entirely unsurprised? Squats make your hindquarters better — the shoes you wear while you squat do not.
