Tasterie

When Lama Rimawi couldn’t find safe foods for her allergy-plagued youngest son, the Cambridge mom and pediatrician developed Tasterie, a monthly delivery service that sends customers items like allergen-free pancake mix, jam, and pasta.

$18–$25 a month, 201-503-6632, tasterie.com.

Healthy Habits Kitchen

Owner Sue Schochet and her team prep boxes full of whole, fresh ingredients. All you have to do is cook the meals, which are 400 calories or fewer per serving and have no more than 800 milligrams of sodium. Healthy Habits also works with Newton-Wellesley Hospital to distribute kits to cancer patients.

Meals can be purchased individually, 781-235-6325, healthyhabitskitchen.com.

Kombu Kitchen

Coconut-rice soup, mixed-berry chia pudding, and barley risotto are among the recent plant-based “vegan fusion” meals—free of dairy, processed sugar, and processed flour—that Kombu Kitchen has dropped off at local doors.

Weekly plans start at $249, 617-939-9138, kombukitchen.com
