Pure Barre is a boutique and franchised barre studio that offers a low-impact, 55-minute full-body workout that focuses mostly on the areas women struggle with the most: hips, thighs, seat, abdominals, and arms. The workout aims to create long, lean muscles without the bulk.

Owner and instructor, Lauren Marett Sherman, of the Newbury Street location is set to open a studio in Coolidge Corner on February 5th. The Weston native and Boston University grad says that Brookline was a natural choice for a new studio. “Brookline is a wonderfully health conscious community that has fully embraced the Pure Barre technique at both our Newbury Street and Newton Centre studios,” she says. “We knew Coolidge Corner could support it’s own studio, and we are so excited to be there.”

Sherman partnered with Rachel Roberts, the owner of Pure Barre Newton and Wellesley, for the new location. “Brookline, and Coolidge corner especially, is booming and we’re excited to be a part of this growing community,” Sherman says.
