Healthy Mother’s Day Brunch

Celebrate Mother’s Day early with this educational and healthy brunch. The event is for moms with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. While the kids will have fun crafting, moms will enjoy brunch and engage in a seminar about raising healthy eaters. This event is a great way to meet local moms in the area and will save you plenty of future stress when feeding your kids. The best part is? It’s free. Though when you sign up online you will pay a $10 deposit, it will be refunded at the event.

Ride by your Mother’s Side

Jam out to some tunes that both you and your mom can enjoy in this indoor cycling class. The playlist will feature cross-generational favorites, and will be held at the Handle Bar’s newest location in the Fenway neighborhood. After the 45 minute class, enjoy some relaxation with an exclusive tea-sampling from DAVIDsTEA’s new summer collection. Participants will learn how to properly seep loose leaf tea and will leave the event with a complimentary travel mug.

Restore this Mother’s Day Weekend

We all move at a fast pace, so this Mother’s Day weekend slow down and give yourself some well deserved rest. Mindful Mommies Fair

Moms join in this fair in honor of well… you! Join local mommy bloggers to learn about a range of topics such as being a new mom, breastfeeding, fitness, and healthy eating. Don’t want to ditch the kids? They can come, too, and enjoy book readings. The event is free and includes fair-trade chocolate and vegan baked goods. After the educational discussions there will be a fair-trade shopping event which will sell handmade goods from artisans in developing nations across the world. Money raised will directly support these artisans.

Mother’s Daughter Barre & Brunch

After all those years of driving the kids to ballet class, the mom’s can now join in with their kids. This mother-daughter barre pilates class will be sure to strengthen your arms, legs, and core, while making you feel like a prima-ballerina. After class, continue with the theme of sophistication with a brunch featuring mimosas, sparkling beverages (for anyone under 21), and light snacks.

Mother’s Week at Healthworks Fitness Center
