District Hall and Boston Event Solutions are offering a new way to network and be social: through fitness.

Called “Pilates for a Purpose,” the event is a part of District Hall’s “Welcome Wednesdays” series, where guests can attend either a boxing class or Pilates class, meet their neighbors, and raise money for a good cause.

The fee is only a $5 donation to Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit whose mission is to provide babies and children up to age 12 with clothing, school supplies, toys, and other necessities—free of charge.

After the classes, everyone is invited to stay and socialize. Healthy eats will be provided by Gather restaurant, including Sam Adams beer samples (hey, beer can be healthy, too!). If Pilates or boxing is not your thing, you can still attend free of charge without participating in a class.

September 24; 75 Northern Ave.; $5; 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; bring your own mat; register here
