Finding the motivation to go for a run can be hard enough—nevermind when you have kids. Now, the running experts at Heartbreak Hill Running Company are making it easier for moms to get moving.

On Tuesday, April 28, the running shop will offer free babysitting while you head out for a run (or walk) with other moms. Erin Flynn, a Newton mom and creator of Fit Mamas, a running group for mothers, is providing the complementary babysitting services. Flynn requests that you bring your child’s favorite toy, and she’ll take care of the rest.

Post-run (the group is or all ages and paces), moms can take advantage of exclusive shopping discounts at the store and treats from Whole Foods.

RSVP to fitmamasnewton@gmail.com with your name and the name(s)/age(s) of any children you plan to bring for babysitting. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; run/walk begins at 9:45 a.m., 638 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton, 617-467-4487, southendathleticcompany.com
