You Can Now Practice Yoga in a Craft Cidery

It's more motivation to get through your downward dogs.

“Cider: It’s juice for yogis who still like to party.”

That’s the motto behind the yoga at Downeast Cider House event on May 17. The event, called “yoga, brews, and beats,” will be led by Boston-area yogi Jenna Hill. It’s a class for all skill levels (even first-timers). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats and to wear “comfortable pants” because after the session there will be a private cidery tour and tasting.

Last month, Nightshift Brewery in Everett hosted a free (thank you!) yoga event inside the brewery (see image above). While this new event at Downeast is not free—it’ll cost you $25—practicing your postures in a cidery complete with a private tasting seems worth it. Sign us up.

May 17th, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for yoga, followed by the tour/tasting at noon, $25, 200 Terminal St., Boston, 857-301-8881, downeastcider.com, sign up through Eventbrite.
