BOOT CAMP

Thumping beats and a concertlike setting have turned this easy-to-follow workshop into one of the largest outdoor Zumba classes in Boston.

LINE DANCING
Franklin Park

Just in time for summer wedding season, learn choreographed steps and upbeat moves with a group of your closest friends (or strangers).

Wednesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

HIIT
Madison Park

The best early-morning eye opener? A vigorous round of al fresco HIIT, which combines bursts of intense exercise (high knees, running, and more) with brief periods of rest.

Mondays, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

PILATES
Rose Kennedy Greenway

Ali Baldassare’s signature Pilates boot camp mixes cardio drills with core-strengthening exercises designed to tone the whole body. BYO mat.

Every other Monday, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

TAI CHI
Symphony Park

This class in the Fenway teaches the mind-body moves of tai chi, created for self ­defense but now used as a stress ­reducer. It’s even being studied as a med-free way to fight chronic pain.

Tuesdays, 10 to 11 a.m.

YOGA
Jamaica Pond (Pinebank Promontory)

At this all-levels class, you can perfect your tree pose while watching the sun set over a glistening Jamaica Pond. BYO mat.
