The Handle Bar, a locally-owned group of indoor cycling studios, with locations in South Boston and the Fenway, is set to open a third spot next month near Harvard Square.

The third time is definitely the charm for the Handle Bar, because the new spot will offer locker rooms, something that the other two studios don’t have. “We’ll have three women’s showers, one men’s shower, and designated changing areas to prevent lines for the bathroom,” says owner Jess Bashelor. “I personally can’t wait to be able to grab a class, pop in the shower, and get ready for a show at the Sinclair.”

Besides having the Sinclair close by, Bashelor says that she chose Cambridge for a third Boston-area location because she was spending more and more time on that side of the river.

“I’ve always loved Harvard Square, and in recent years, I’ve begun spending more time in Central Square,” Bashelor says. “The new studio location is positioned conveniently between both of these hubs. When imagining a new home for a Handle Bar studio, I am diligent in choosing places where I want to spend time.”

The new location will be at 1030 Mass. Ave. For more information on all of the studios, visit handlebarcycling.com
