Poolside Rock ‘n’ Roll Yoga at the Verb Hotel

Hang on to the fleeting days of summer with this outdoor, poolside class set to rock music, held on Aug. 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Instructor Chrissy Vaccaro is a guitarist for local band Petty Morals, so get ready for an expertly chosen playlist. Students are encouraged to wear band shirts and bring bathing suits for a post-class dip.

Hula Hoop Yoga at C-Town Yoga

C-Town Studio is holding a combination yoga/hula hoop class on Aug. 27, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. that promises to burn calories, tone the waistline, and bring students deeper into traditional yoga poses.

‘80s-Inspired Aerobics at David Barton Gym

Break out those leg warmers. On Sept. 26 at 3 p.m., instructors Jennifer Menzer and Kitty Amann are hosting a throwback aerobics class, complete with an ‘80s workout wear costume contest. After class, students can enjoy “80s-inspired cocktails” at Tico.
