Vegans, get ready: Food Truck Festivals of America is holding a vegan food truck festival in Cambridge on Sept. 12. Think of it as vegan Thanksgiving, come early.

The all-day affair will feature live music and activities for kids along with, of course, all the meat- and dairy-free food you can eat. In addition to always-vegan trucks, many Boston favorites are transforming their menus for the event, and some out-of-town eateries are making special appearances. Trucks attending include Bon Me, Boston Projuice, Chubby Chickpea, Compliments, Dragon Roll Grill, Heritage Truck, Jamaica Mi Hungry, Like No Udder, Rhythm N’ Wraps, Riceburg, and Sante Mobile Farmhouse.

VIP tickets—which come with a free dessert and free non-alcoholic drinks, as well as earlier admission—cost $20, while general admission is $5.

Sept. 12 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kendall Square, Cambridge, foodtruckfestivalsofamerica.com.
