If you’re running the Boston Marathon this year, Barry’s Bootcamp wants to help.

The studio just announced that, for the first time, it will offer a special marathon training version of its signature treadmill bootcamp class. The new option devotes slightly more time to treadmill work than typical Barry’s classes (about 40 minutes) and tailors the strength training portions of the class specifically to muscles heavily used by runners. While the class is billed as Boston Marathon training, it’s open to anybody.

The class kicks off on December 6 and runs through March, taking place every Sunday at 7:15 a.m. And if you’re balking at the early wakeup call, consider it an exercise in the type of motivation required to climb your way up Heartbreak Hill.
