A flurry of summertime free fitness schedules have been released this month, including those from the Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series, Post Office Square, the Prudential Center, and Street at Chestnut Hill. In the off chance that none of those classes struck your fancy, we present yet another opportunity to find your free fitness soulmate.

The Esplanade Association today added its summer classes to the mix. The Healthy, Fit, and Fun series begins July 12, and runs through mid-September. Each week, you can take:

  • Zumba on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Classes take place at the Hatch Shell, and are sponsored by Healthworks. They include interval and resistance training in addition to dance.
  • Sunset Yoga on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Head to Fiedler Field for an open-air, riverside yoga class taught by Sara Divello. Bring your own mat.
  • CrossFit on Thursdays at 6 p.m. CrossFit Kendall Square will host high-intensity functional training workouts at the Arthur Fiedler Memorial.

In addition to free classes, the Esplanade Association also partners with Marathon Sports to offer a free run club, which meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Runners can choose from three-, five-, or eight-mile loops.

Healthy, Fit, and Fun classes are perennially popular—good luck finding a spot close to the stage on Zumba nights—so if you plan to go, the Esplanade Association recommends pre-registering online, here.
