This Company Is Giving Away Free Lift Tickets Every Week

Skedaddle wants you to hit the slopes this winter.

If the relatively snow-free winter has kept you from the slopes, here’s your chance to make up for lost time.

Ride sharing company Skedaddle—which helps urbanites get out of the city by chartering shared buses to outdoor and cultural destinations—is paying for you to strap on your skis this season. Each Monday through mid-March, Skedaddle will announce a new featured ski and snowboard destination on its social media channels. If enough people register, the company will reward each adventurer with free lift tickets.

This week’s trip, departing on February 11, is heading to Jiminy Peak, a 45-trail mountain in the Berkshires. Once you chip in for roundtrip bus fare—the cost of which varies depending on how many other people have reserved tickets—you’re looking at a gratis day in the great outdoors.

Some upcoming sponsored voyages are on the West Coast, but a rep from Skedaddle says trips from Boston to Okemo and Bretton Woods are still to come this winter. Better dig your boots out of storage.
