Yoga Reaches Out’s New England Yogathon will once again pack Gillette with yoga mats next month. And this year, the charity yoga festival is bringing along a special guest.

Internationally renowned instructor Seane Corn will be the lead presenter at the all-day yoga marathon, which is set to bring more than 1,000 yogis to Gillette’s Empower Field House on April 30.

Corn has been featured by numerous media outlets—and amassed 62,000 Instagram followers—during her nearly 25-year teaching career, but she’s perhaps equally well known as an activist. She’s the founder of Off the Mat Into the World (OTM), which bridges the gap between yoga and activism. She has also racked up philanthropic and humanitarian awards for her work with sexually exploited children, HIV/AIDS, and more.

Corn’s philanthropic bonafides make her a natural fit for the Yogathon, which this year is raising money for OTM and Boston Children’s Hospital. So far, event registrants have raised almost $105,000, with a total goal of $350,000.

Want to take part? You can still register here for the yoga festival, which also includes classes led by local instructors, musical performances, a marketplace, a raffle, and more. Each participant is asked to raise at least $250.

Contribution of $250+, 4/30, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Gillette Empower Field House, One Patriot Place, Foxboro, yogareachesout.org.
