G2O Spa and Salon, one of the many swanky wellness escapes in the Back Bay, is moving off Newbury Street—and expanding.

In February 2018, G2O will open its doors at 33 Exeter Street, just two blocks away from its current location. The move itself may not be dramatic, but the new three-story, 17,000-square-foot space will allow the spa to significantly grow its service offerings and staff.

G2O promises that the Exeter Street facility will offer new amenities including a salt cave, a flotation tank, a coed sauna, a virtual meditation room, a fireside lounge, an LED light room, a “Smooth Skin” room dedicated to skincare, and an additional couples’ massage room. The beloved “Experience Room,” which features herbal infused steam, ice fog, and a tropical shower, will carry over from the old location, with some fresh updates.

The building’s third floor will be dedicated to reception, salon services, a makeup counter, and retail. The fourth floor will house locker rooms, lounges, and a nail salon. The fifth floor, meanwhile, will be reserved for tranquil spa services such as massages and body work.

And don’t worry—you can still pamper yourself at the current Newbury Street location until it closes for next winter’s move.
