Treadmill studios are becoming a bona fide trend in Boston, bolstered by Equinox’s soon-to-open Precision Running Lab. But when the weather gets nice, there’s nothing better than running in the great outdoors.

MyStryde, the city’s first treadmill studio, gets that. So this summer, it’s taking classes out of the gym, and into the streets.

Through August, MyStryde is leading three outdoor running classes per week. Like its studio classes, the fresh air sessions incorporate strength-training and conditioning as well as straight-up pavement pounding. Even better, they’re way cheaper than traditional classes, at $13 each or $46 for a four-pack. The weekly schedule includes:

  • Tuesdays: Track + Strength (running with five to 10 minutes of strength at the end) at the Charlestown High School track, 6:15-7:05 a.m.
  • Wednesdays: Power Stryde (an outdoor bootcamp featuring sprints, stairs, HIIT, and possibly even outdoor barre) beginning at MyStryde, 6:50-7:40 a.m.
  • Thursdays: Track + Strength at Moakley Field, 6:15-7:05 a.m.

And for running purists, MyStryde also offers a traditional free running group on Wednesday evenings. Meet at the studio at 6:30 p.m., then join the group for a four-mile loop.
