UPDATED, July 18, 2017:

Nastia Liukin’s bootcamp class has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts. The Prudential Center will still offer a free bootcamp class that night, taught by local instructor Samantha Poccia. Register for the class and find more information here.

How many people can say their fitness instructor is a five-time Olympic medalist? Not many—but for one day, at least, you can be among them.

This month, gymnast Nastia Liukin, who won the all-around gold in the 2008 Olympics, will teach a special free bootcamp class through the Prudential Center’s Fit on the Garden series. The workout follows fellow gymnast and Olympic medalist Aly Raisman’s appearance at the Jimmy Fund Fit Fest in May. Do we sense a joint fitness venture in their future?

Liukin’s class is scheduled for July 26. She’ll take participants through a grueling HIIT workout before heading to the Under Armour store for a meet-and-greet with (sweaty) fans. There will also be food and drink provided by Sweetgreen and Bai.

While the website says registration is full, Prudential Center representatives say there should be plenty of room for day-of sign-ups. The class begins at 6 p.m., so arrive a little early to secure your spot.

Free, 6 p.m. Prudential Center South Garden, 800 Boylston St., Boston, eventbrite.com.
