For every diehard, devoted runner out there, there’s someone else who has sworn off the sport at all costs. A 5K happening on the Cape next weekend, however, is the rare event that will appeal to both groups.

The Insane Inflatable 5K, a race that’s traveling the country this summer and fall, is like no 5K you’ve ever run. The road-race-meets-obstacle-course takes place on roughly 3.1 miles worth of giant inflatable obstacles, such as a climbing wall, a ball pit, and a “wave runner” covered in speed bumps. A boring old jog, this is not.

The race is untimed, so runners of all abilities are invited to come out and give it a shot. As an added bonus, there will be food, music, drinks, and games waiting for you on the other side.

Registration is still open for the Cape Cod race, which takes place in East Falmouth on August 5. If you need more time to prepare, though, the race also stops in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on September 16.

Grab your ticket here, and then get ready to bounce.
