Work Out Next to the Colonnade’s Rooftop Pool This Summer
With classes from Kick It by Eliza and yoga with Rebecca Pacheco.
The Colonnade’s rooftop pool is open and we’re heading 12 stories up, and not only for a day of lounging in our swimsuits. The hotel is also offering workouts with Kick It by Eliza and Rebecca Pacheco on the rooftop.
Starting June 20 and continuing until August 30, you can catch these two workout classes early in the morning as you watch the city (and the sun) wake up. On Wednesday mornings, partake in Sunrise Oms with Pacheco as she returns for her fifth season of rooftop yoga from 6:45 a.m.-7:45 a.m. On Thursday mornings, Eliza Shirazi and her Kick It crew will host a 13 round kickboxing-inspired class to music with a meditative cooldown from 6:45 a.m.-7:45 a.m. Each class is $20.
If you want to stick around the pool for the day (isn’t that what summer is for?), a $45 day pass will get you into the workout class and you’ll have full access to chaise lounges, private cabanas, and a 12 seat bar by the pool.
Also, as a part of the Colonnade’s summer initiatives, the roofTOP Chefs series will begin June 12 and go until September 11. Every Tuesday night, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy poolside tastings from guest chefs. Tickets are $30 per person and all proceeds from the pop-up go to Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry.
All fitness classes are free to hotel guests, as is pool access, but that doesn’t mean locals can’t find a little escape from the bustling streets down below.
