Seaport Beer Run: They say there’s no better way to explore a city than by taking to the streets and running. The run will go through the North End to the Old North Church before circling back to Harpoon for a pretzel and a pint.

Boston Sharkfest: There might be fear of sharks on the Cape right nowbut the only commotion happening in Boston Harbor on this Sunday morning will be 300 swimmers making a 1500-meter splash. The race starts at East Pier in East Boston, and goes to the John Joseph Moakley U.S. Federal Courthouse at Fan Pier in South Boston. Think you can stay afloat?
