If you’ve been diligently training for the Boston Marathon, and your body has begun to feel the effects, keep your spirits high the finish line is almost near. And to boost your spirits even higher why not treat yourself to a Nantucket getaway right after you make the final stretch down Boylston?

Hotel Pippa, one of Nantucket’s newest hotels, is offering a special travel deal for Boston Marathon runners. The deal is for a two-night stay in one of their King Rooms decorated with local artwork, midcentury modern decor, and outfitted with Matouk linens and Davines Momo bath and skincare products. During your stay your sore and overused muscles will get some much needed TLC with an included recovery massage, reflexology session, and in-room delivery of organic juices from local juice bar and restaurant Lemon Press.

Administered by Nantucket-based certified massage therapists and reflexologists, the massage will focus on your body parts that need the most love and reflexology is a form of alternative medicine involving the application of pressure to the feet and hands—great for pavement pounders. Lemon Press, located right downtown, offers smoothies like Georgia Greens loaded with peach, spinach, kale, and apple juice as well as açaí bowls and teas.

Although completing the Boston Marathon is a major milestone worth celebrating, not all of us can be so lucky to escape for a few days of rest. If you find yourself sticking around town try any one of these recovery modalities like cryotherapy, a whole body stretch, or spend some time basking in a salt cave.

The hotel—which opened in June of last year—has 17 luxury rooms and is within walking distance of restaurants, lounges, and showrooms. Forget pacing, splits, and finish times—the only time you’ll be on for the next two days is island time.

$1,200 double occupancy two-night stay including the massage, reflexology, and juice; 5 Chestnut St., Nantucket, 508-228-5300, hotelpippa.com.
