The First of the Free Outdoor Fitness Schedules Is Here

Seaport Sweat makes its return to the Seaport Common on May 28 with a bigger and better lineup than years prior.

Beach days, sandals, and patio season are so close we can almost feel the consistently warm weather—we just have to get through a couple more rainy weeks of April. To keep your spirits high, the return of the free outdoor fitness series Seaport Sweat was just announced and the lineup is looking pretty stacked.

The series returns to the Seaport Common on May 28, with classes offered every single day of the week (weather permitting), and will run until September 28. You’ll still be able to relish in free classes from your favorite (and ever popular) instructors like Kelly Brabants, Eliza Shirazi, and Athena Concannon but new to the lineup this year include B/Spoke instructor Aly Raymer, Broncore Bootcamp founder Bron Volney, November Project leader Chris Capozzi, and others.

New classes this year, based on participant feedback and demand, will include hip-hop yoga, Pilates mat work, stroller bootcamp, and a Spartan class. Also new this year will be a complete lineup of Saturday classes, whereas in years prior Saturday classes were only offered occasionally.

“The Seaport neighborhood is ever changing and ever growing,” Debra Brodsky, senior head of marketing for Seaport Sweat, said in a press release. “It’s only natural that our fitness lineup has evolved exponentially to keep pace. The 2019 schedule speaks not only to new demographics but also to changing workout trends.”

11 a.m. Pilates Stroller Bootcamp with Jennifer Phelan
5:30 p.m. Yoga with Aly Raymer
6:30 p.m. Lululemon Run Club with Chris Capozzi

Wednesdays:
5:30 p.m. Box and Body with Monique Magno
6:30 p.m. Pilates with Ali Baldassare

Thursdays:
5:30 p.m. Kick It By Eliza with Eliza Shirazi
6:30 p.m. Cardio Conditioning with Athena Concannon
