Start Your Sunday with Yoga at the Cisco Beer Garden in the Seaport
The best part? You get to skip the line.
Grab your yoga mat, maybe your dog, and definitely your ID because the Cisco Brewery beer garden in the Seaport is hosting yoga every Sunday morning.
The Nantucket-based brewery started pouring drafts mid-May at its pop-up in the Seaport and this year there’s twice as much space as last year. Which makes yoga (and other fun lawn games) an obvious next move. Yoga begins at 11 a.m. every Sunday and will last through mid-October when the beer garden closes, and weather permitting.
The classes are $20 and includes a 60-minute practice, mat rental, and one beer ticket. The best part though, is that you’ll already be inside so you won’t have to wait in line when all the Sunday Funday participants make their way to Northern Avenue.
Beats by 1111 is hosting the classes with a music-driven yoga experience integrating a live DJ. The company is owned and operated by 1111 Nantucket Wellness, which hosts luxury wellness retreats on Nantucket. Retreats include everything from three-day yoga cleanses to private group retreats for businesses and teams.
During the duration of the series you’ll be able to catch classes with popular instructors in the Boston area like YogaWorks instructor Anne Patrick and Catie Macken who teaches at different places all throughout the city. You can also be on the look out for other fun events and retreats from 1111 Nantucket right here in the city.
And if you’re looking for more excuses to work out and then drink might we suggest checking out our healthy events roundup every Monday because it’s always loaded with opportunities to enjoy a sweat and some sips. The Night Shift Owl’s Nest beer garden is also a great place to swing by. Centrally located right on the Esplanade, you can log some miles before sitting down for a beer.
Soak it in, Boston. Summer is finally in full swing.
$20, every Sunday, now-October 13, 11 a.m.-12 p.m., 65 Northern Ave., beatsby1111.com.
