Exercise and happy hour have collided, and it’s an interesting concept for sure. One that, for the average person, who contemplates drinks after work or going to the gym, is a saving grace when it comes to making a choice at 5 p.m.

As exercise becomes not just a thing to do but the thing to do, breweries and distilleries are tapping into the wellness industry by offering fitness events in their spaces and new products that are both lighter in calories and ABV. Plus, most events are quite a steal considering you get a fitness class and a free cocktail, basically for the price of one beer. Check out these boozy fitness events in Boston, happening this weekend, and relish in the fact that yes, you can do both. It’s all about balance.
