YouTube reigns supreme as one of the best resources for when you’re starting your fitness journey, or looking for full-length workouts at home to follow along with.
The next time you’re in a rush and need to skip the gym, or you’re looking to make sure that your form is correct, try visiting one of these YouTube channels. They’re jam packed with full-length workouts you can do at home and, as an added bonus, they’re made by Boston-based fitness professionals.
Pearce is NASM certified personal trainer who runs a blog that also contains nutrition and lifestyle information. Her YouTube channel has a variety of videos, ranging from 15-minute HIIT workouts to resistance band workouts. The playlists on her channel are also grouped by muscle group, making it easy to find exactly what you want to target.
Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning is a training center with two locations in Woburn and Middleton that caters to a variety of audiences, including athletes who want to improve their endurance and conditioning. The YouTube channel contains helpful videos, mostly focused on developing strength moves like one-leg squats and the hang clean, and also hip stretches and proper foam rolling technique.
If you prefer a more dance-style workout, this channel is for you. Hefez teaches pilates, dance, and barre at Equinox and also trains clients. Her videos include barre workouts, no equipment workouts, and muscle-focused workouts, as well as other content related to nutrition and mindfulness.
Sarah Dussault is a full-time health and fitness blogger who rose to fame through her YouTube channel. Dussault uploads videos every Tuesday on topics such as vacation workouts and reviews of different workout programs. After having her son in 2016, her channel is also a great source for workouts that are safe for pregnancy, as well as postpartum exercise.
