If you’re finding it hard to get to the gym during the dead of winter, you’re not alone. When it’s dark when you wake up, and dark when you leave the office, it can be hard to find the motivation to head to the gym. We may have it a little rough in New England come the winter, but luckily Boston makes it pretty easy to find ways to stay moving. From free fitness series, to weekly workout events, there’s truly something for everyone on almost every single day of the week.
So, even when the couch and Netflix is calling your name, exercising and revving those endorphins will make you feel better in the long run. Not to mention, it will keep stress and anxiety at bay, especially if you’re more prone to mood changes during the winter months. What are you waiting for? Hopefully by then we’ll be thawed out and welcoming summer, sunshine, and outdoor fitness with open arms. Only 105 days to go, but who’s counting?
