Attorney Marsha V. Kazarosian, Partner at Kazarosian Costello LLP, is a highly respected, award-winning trial attorney focusing on civil rights/police excessive force litigation, personal injury, and civil litigation.

A passionate advocate, Attorney Kazarosian earned national recognition with high profile, precedent-setting cases, such as the Pamela Smart murder case in New Hampshire, her victory in the Haverhill Country Club gender discrimination trial in Massachusetts, and LaPierre v. City of Lawrence, which defined the parameters of Rule 68 in the First Circuit. She has successfully argued appellate cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Supreme Judicial Court, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Most recently, she was named one of the top 50 women attorneys in Massachusetts by Super Lawyers. She enjoys an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale and a 10.0 rating from AVVO.

Throughout her career, Attorney Kazarosian has established herself as a leader in the legal community, forging strong relationships with both bench and bar and taking on leadership roles in local, state and national organizations. A past president of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the Essex County Bar Association, Attorney Kazarosian is currently a Delegate to the American Bar Association and sits on the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers. Recently appointed by Attorney General Maura Healey as a Commissioner to Massachusetts’ inaugural Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission, she was elected as Secretary. In addition, Attorney Kazarosian continues to serve on the Supreme Judicial Court’s Advisory Committee on Ethical Opinions for Clerks of the Courts.
