Canada Goose and Concepts Collaboration Drops Friday in Boston
The limited-edition jacket will also be available at the Canada Goose flagship store opening November 24.
Well, guys, it finally got cold outside. And maybe you’re just now realizing that you won’t be able to make do with your denim jacket and a wool sweater. Not to worry: Canada Goose has teamed up with local streetwear shop, Concepts, and designed a cool (hot?) new jacket in anticipation of our northern neighbors opening their first Boston flagship.
The coat is a reimagining of one of the outerwear company’s most popular styles, the Macmillan Parka. The hooded puffer comes in an iridescent purple color, inspired by the bright lights of metropolitan areas, with CONCEPTS embroidered down the left sleeve. It’s technically a men’s style, but clearly ladies could rock this as well. The parka is available this Friday in a super limited quantity (rumor has it that only 400 were made!) at Concepts at 10 a.m., online at 11 a.m., and in the Boston Canada Goose store when it opens on November 24.
The almost 5,000 square foot space inside the Prudential Center will carry jackets, knitwear, accessories and youth styles, as well as several exclusive pieces. The very Canadian interior will boast custom-made furnishings from Montreal’s Montauk Sofa and a British Columbian marble reception desk. So if the collaboration with Concepts doesn’t strike your fancy, there’ll be plenty of warm winter coats to choose from in-store next week. Whichever you choose, it’s sure to be coveted.
The Canada Goose and Concepts Macmillan Parka retails for $950 and is available Friday in stores at 10 a.m. and online at canadagoose.com and cncpts.com at 11 a.m.. It will also be available at the Canada Goose flagship store opening on November 24 in the Prudential Center. Hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
