On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, over 150 home industry professionals gathered at the Boston Design Center for Boston magazine’s annual Top Places to Live event, to kick-off Boston Design Week and celebrate the March real estate issue. Associate Editor, Madeline Bilis, moderated a panel of experts including Ed McDonald of Salem Five Bank, Chris Rapczynski of Sleeping Dog Properties, Inc. Sonja B. Selami of The Law Offices of Sonja B Selami, PC, and Dan Walsh of William Raveis Real Estate.

Panelists discussed how to find the best deals in Boston’s red-hot real estate market, from saving money while renovating fixer-uppers to putting your best foot forward in bidding wars. Throughout the evening guests networked with local tastemakers and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres from La Bonne Maison Catering and wine from Barton & Guestier. Entertainment Specialists provided partygoers with a delightful jazz duo, while special prizes were awarded to a few lucky winners, including an iPad from William Raveis Real Estate and free workspace from The Yard: Back Bay. Everybody departed with an exclusive gift from Jarvis Appliance Inc.
