After almost three decades on Newbury, luxury jeweler Cartier is packing up its precious baubles and making a move. But if you’re in the market for something sparkly, don’t fret—the celebrated French brand isn’t going very far. This month, it will reopen just steps away from its former digs in a four-story maison redesigned by architect Bruno Moinard. Marvel at the treasure trove of watches—including this newly introduced 18-karat-gold Panthère timepiece—on the first floor, then ascend the staircase, decked out in custom panther-inspired fabric, to gaze at one-of-a-kind jewelry as well as fragrances and leather goods. The very last floor is set up like an apartment, complete with a lounge and fireplace, that can be yours for the evening, should you need a glittering event space to show off your new gems.
