Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Back Bay hosted the One World Strong marathon team for a pre-Boston Marathon dinner. One World Strong began as Team 415 Strong and is comprised of survivors and victims’ family members of the Boston Marathon bombing and other man-made disasters from around the world. For the dinner, the Boston survivors were joined by victims’ families and survivors of the Manchester Arena bombing. Mayor Andy Burnham ran the Boston Marathon along with Boston survivors and Team 415 Strong founder Dave Fortier as part of the One World Strong team. Team Semper Fi, made up of wounded service members who came to support the survivors after the Boston bombings, also attended the dinner before their run the next day. Boston Police Commissioner William Gross, EMS Chief Jim Hooley, and Davio’s GM Armando Dias thanked the teams for their work and inspiration.
