The Last Word

Your long day of corporate drudgery is over. Get out and enjoy the city! Here are a few ideas to get you started, lovingly picked by Boston Daily.

SantiagoDiaz.jpgThe end of summer always gets us down a little. Outdoor concert series start wrapping up, and we’re stuck inside for our musical fixes once again. Tonight, the Gore Place in Waltham ends its Concerts in the Carriage House series with Santiago Diaz, a classical guitarist who plays music by Spanish and South American composers.

Landmarks Festival at the Shell has another week left, and tonight’s performance is “With Liberty and Justice for All,” featuring the Boston Community Choir.

It’s Wednesday, the coming weekend is a long one, so really, this whole week is a wash. This twisted logic is to justify a trip to the 33 Restaurant and Lounge for Hot Off the Vine, a tasting of wines from around the world.

And, you know, Donnie Wahlberg’s Birthday Bash. You were always our favorite, Donnie.
