The Last Word

Your long day of corporate drudgery is over. Get out and enjoy the city! Here are a few ideas to get you started, lovingly picked by Boston Daily.

nordstrom.jpgAt long last, Nordstrom has come to Boston. (Well, Natick. Close enough.) To reward us for our patience, the store hosts an Opening Gala tonight, with proceeds going to The Museum of Fine Arts and Boston Ballet.

Prepare to get your sulk on. Damien Rice plays his good but deeply depressing folk music at the Bank of America Pavilion tonight.

South Yarmouth isn’t very close to Boston, but it’s worth the trip to see John LeBold’s “Silver Screen Collection” at the Cultural Center. The exhibit features costumes from The Wizard of Oz, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Terminator 2.

Tonight is the last show for Landmarks Festival at the Shell, and the series goes out with a low-carbon-footprint bang with a program of music inspired by nature.
