How Meta Can It Get?

Over on boston.com you can find today’s Globe piece written by Michael Levenson detailing yesterday’s blow-up between Mitt Romney and AP reporter Glen Johnson.

It’s been noted a few other places that Johnson is a former Globe scribe, himself, so you have a current Globe reporter writing about a former one. Hey, it’s the business.

Here’s where it gets all new media. The Reuters photo (by Jonathan Ernst) that accompanies the online and print version of the story is a great shot of Romney engaged with Johnson. Peering over the 20 percent off rack is Levenson, doing what every good reporter does: getting in good position to get the gist of the conversation.
